It's nice to be nice. And to have nice people, be even nicer. Some niceness from Thursday... 🌻

💚”Hello Marie,
I just placed an order and if possible, I'm hoping you can put a rush on it. I'm flying back home to Holland next week and was hoping to take it back with me to decorate my new home. 💚 I love the vibrant colors and used to pick apples there with my grandmother when I was a child.
Thank you!" 💚
•
🌻”Hi (unnamed person who is super nice and also likes my art), 🌻 How exciting to know that my artwork will be living in Holland! I am glad this piece will remind you of some wonderful memories. 🌻
•
💚Yes, it's a big move for me. And I'm so happy I'll bring a piece of the upstate with me with my special memories.
Best wishes for your continued success in your artistry!"💚
• . 🌻”Sounds great! I will drop it off tomorrow. And best wishes with your new life’s adventure!! 🌻

Be nice. In the end, it is easier. And nice. 🌻😍😇💚 Happy Valentine’s Day. ❤️ For some people this IS a “happy” day, but for others — not so much. If you find yourself in a particularly sad place on this day which is supposed to be a celebration of love — please listen to these words of Truth.
.
And let them fill your mind, and penetrate your soul. Even if just for today.
.
Because this very same exact source of never-ending, bigger-than-life LOVE, is for YOU too. (I promise.)
.
“But you, O God, are both tender and kind, not easily angered, immense in love, and you never, never quit.” 💕
.
— Psalm 86:15 (The Message translation) DONE!! 👩🏻‍🎨 (Actually, this one has been done for a while.) It is # 1 in a series of 3 pear paintings. 🍐I spent today working on her sister painting. That one has 2 pears. 🍐🍐One for each of my 2 pets! ❤️🐾🐾❤️ Because after creating three hundred some paintings and beyond, you gotta find meaning and inspiration in places that really matter. 🙏🏻 Otherwise it ends up feeling like all you do for a living is move paint around. 🌻 By special request... the OTHER side of the room. 😊 Pics of my family room. AKA “diy fall art project.” 👩🏻‍🎨 The wall of cabinets were dark red cherry. Until I got out my brushes and went to work. 😉The fireplace mantle was non-existent. What you see there now arrived as raw wood. It came in several boxes from Amazon, and was installed by my amazing hubby. ❤️ OH! The painting?? That is a real one I painted in my studio last winter. It is called BREATHING SPACE. (I think???) Dear Florida, I miss you.
